James Bonheur, MD is a board-certified surgeon who has performed bariatric surgeries since 2007. He shares the commitment of Greenwich Hospital's bariatric care team in addressing the needs of the "whole person" throughout the entire weight loss process.
Thomas Cerabona, MD
is a board-certified surgeon. He has been performing obesity surgery since 1990 and has performed numerous bariatric surgeries, both of the open and primarily laparoscopic variety since 1997.
Ashutosh Kaul MD
Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic surgery at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Kaul has been performing obesity surgery since 2000 and is a member of the American Bariatric Society. He is a Board Certified general surgeon, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Anthony Maffei, MD
is a board certified general surgeon and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been performing weight loss surgery for several years now and is a member of the American Bariatric Society. Maffei regularly manages some of the most challenging and complex patients, engages all levels of obesity and standards of care for weight loss operations, ages, co-morbid conditions, and re-operations.
Katrina Melei, MS, RD
, Program Coordinator provides individual guidance to each patient through pre-surgery evaluations and post-operative care.
Erica Chris, RD, CDE and Meredith Sobel, MS, RD, CDN, Registered Dietitians see patients before and after bariatric surgery for initial assessments and follow up dietary guidance. They teach and monitor a modified food plan and ways to apply it to daily life.
Exercise Physiologists help patients to establish safe and comfortable exercise regimens to improve overall health.
