How We Care for Visitors
There are times when a family member may wish to stay with a patient. If you feel the need to stay, speak with your nurse to discuss arrangements. It may be possible to remain in the patient's room. In special cases, we can help you arrange accommodations nearby. The Patient and Guest Relations Department will work with your nurse to meet your needs. Contact Patient and Guest Relations at 203-863-4746, or e-mail Christine.Beechner@greenwichhospital.org
If a patient asks you to join him or her at mealtime, a guest tray may be requested. Selections must be made at least two hours before the meal is served. The guest and patient trays are served when all the meals are served on the unit. The price of the guest's meal will appear as a separate charge on the patient's account. To make arrangements for a guest tray, contact the Food & Nutrition Services Department representative at extension 5211 in the hospital.
