Garden Cafe

Dining
There are two dining areas available to visitors.

The Garden Cafe is located on the 1st floor of the Watson Pavilion, and is open weekdays from 8:00am to 3:30pm. The sunny, bistro-style cafe serves breakfast and lunch and overlooks the new Carl and Dorothy Bennett Community Garden.
The Cafeteria is located on the ground floor of the Helmsley Medical Building, and is open to visitors seven days a week from 6:30am to 7pm. It closes from 10:45 - 11:30am and 2:30 - 3:30pm for meal preparation.

Guest Trays

If a patient asks you to join him or her at mealtime, a guest tray may be requested. Selections need to be made at least two hours before the meal is served. The guest and patient trays are served when all the meals are served on the unit. The price of the guest's meal will appear as a separate charge on the patient's account. To make arrangements for a guest tray, contact the Dietitian at (203) 863-5211.

Smoking

We are a clean-air hospital and there is no area within our facility where patients, visitors or employees may smoke. We understand, however, that hospitalization can be stressful, and refraining from smoking may be difficult. We expect you to respect our smoke-free policy as an extension of our dedication to your health.
