Occupational Health Services provides a comprehensive range of onsite workplace health programs for employers who want to reduce absenteeism, increase productivity and improve morale. Programs range from onsite medical and fitness services to disease prevention, education and health screenings.
Employers may select from a wide range of services to create a program that meets their needs. Pilot programs are available for employers interested in testing employee interest and program suitability.
Workplace Medical Departments.
Onsite medical departments allow employees to be treated for injuries and minor illnesses at the workplace. Occupational Health Services consults on space and equipment and provides staffing that includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and exercise physiologists.
Onsite Fitness Centers.
Occupational Health Services staffs onsite fitness centers at corporate and manufacturing locations throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties. Services include wellness programming and advice on exercise and nutrition.
Ergonomic Job Analysis and Safety Evaluations.
Onsite evaluations protect employees and increase productivity by helping to identify potential risks and determine ways to reduce injuries. Employees are trained at the company location.
Educational programs provide information on health, wellness and disease prevention. Topics include stress management in the workplace, nutrition and exercise, back care, women's health (osteoporosis, menopause, breast cancer), heart health, CPR, first aid training classes and more. Programs run about 45 minutes and can be customized to fit your company's needs or concerns.
Health Screening Programs.
Health screenings are an effective way to help employees manage their health and prevent disease. Screenings include quarterly blood pressure and cholesterol measurements. Annual flu shot programs are also available.
