Schwartz Center Rounds
Greenwich Hospital now offers “Schwartz Center Rounds” to all our caregivers. The purpose of these group sessions is to enhance their level of empathy and understanding to provide the most compassionate care possible to patients and families. Named after their founder, Kenneth B. Schwartz, the rounds offer an interdisciplinary forum to discuss difficult emotional and social issues that may arise during a patient’s hospitalization.
The rounds at Greenwich Hospital are organized by a steering committee comprised of representatives from the medical and nursing staffs, as well as departments such as quality management, spiritual care, volunteer services, patient and guest relations, and our Center for Healthy Aging.
The Schwartz Center Rounds are funded by a grant from the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center.
