Summit Award Recognizes High Patient Satisfaction Greenwich Hospital has been honored with the Summit Award for the third year in a row, placing it among a select group of hospitals nationwide.
Press, Ganey Associates, the nation's leader in patient satisfaction measurement, created the award to highlight outstanding healthcare providers and encourage the use of best practices. Awardees must maintain an overall patient satisfaction ranking in the 95th percentile or above for at least three consecutive years. Greenwich Hospital's scores have consistently met or exceeded that ranking for the past eight years.
The achievement “reflects the efforts of everyone here, from the administrators to the doctors and nurses, and all our dedicated support staff and volunteers,” said Frank Corvino, the hospital's president and chief executive officer. “Everyone works together as a team to make service excellence a reality.” The award also is a tribute to our patients who take the time to complete the Press, Ganey survey and comment about the care they receive.
