Greenwich Hospital Wins National Award for Patient Satisfaction

Greenwich Hospital has won Press Ganey Associates' top national prize for patient satisfaction. President/CEO Frank Corvino accepted the organization's prestigious Summit Award Monday, Nov. 13, during a gala presentation at the New York Marriott Marquis also attended by members of the Service Excellence Steering Committee.

"This is a tribute to the entire Greenwich Hospital staff," said Corvino. "Our patients let us know every day when we are doing our job right or wrong. We make it our business to take every comment seriously."

The Summit Award recognizes top performing healthcare facilities across the country that sustain superior levels of customer satisfaction for three or more consecutive years. For inpatient hospitals, the benchmark was the 95th percentile. Greenwich Hospital, one of 13 inpatient hospitals to receive the award, easily met the criteria with patient satisfaction scores that have repeatedly ranked in the top two percent nationwide over the last six years.

More than one-third of U.S. inpatient hospitals currently partner with Press Ganey, which is the largest patient satisfaction measurement organization in the country.
