Like most people today, women want to be smart healthcare consumers. But with so much information available in print or on the Internet, it can be difficult to sift through it all to find the most pertinent, valid and up-to-date facts.

The Women’s Resource Center at Greenwich Hospital can help. Managed by an experienced nurse and women’s health educator, the Center is designed to quickly connect women with pre-screened, quality information to help them make the right decisions. The Center guides the user in the right health-related sources, whether in print, on the Internet, at Greenwich Hospital, or at other local agencies. Much of the information is geared to the needs of women from midlife on.

Personal and professional assistance
The Women’s Resource Center is equipped with computers expressly formatted to direct the user to the best, pre-screened web sites for women’s major healthcare issues. Special navigational tools will help the user easily explore these sites.

Personal assistance from our women’s health nurse-educator is available at the Center from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. During other hours, the user can speak with the librarian, or request guidance by phone or e-mail. At all hours, printed materials and computer access are available.
