Women's Health Initiative

The Women's Health Initiative Advisory Board was established to develop community educational programs to promote women’s health. The Board’s annual lecture series, presented by Greenwich Hospital, addresses questions that arise as women seek to make informed decisions and lifestyle changes related to disease prevention, medical treatment, and maximizing good health throughout their lives. Recent nationally recognized experts who have spoken at the Women's Health Initiative lecture series include leading cardiologist and author Dr. Mehmet Oz, psychiatrist, relationship expert and author Dr. Dale Atkins and clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Yale School of Medicine and leading expert on women's sexual health Dr. Mary Jane Minkin.
