Pre-registration makes coming in a breeze
Your obstetrician will give you a pre-registration fform for Greenwich Hospital early in your pregnancy. Please bring your completed form and your insurance card to our Admitting Office about four months before your due date. The Admitting Office is located just off the Atrium Lobby and its hours of operation are 8am-10pm, seven days a week.

When you come to the hospital
When the time comes for your baby's birth, after you have spoken with your obstetrician and have been advised to come to the hospital, use the Emergency Room entrance. There will be no delay in admitting you, since you have pre-registered. You will first be settled into one of our beautiful new labor and delivery rooms on the third floor. Your vital signs and the baby's heartbeat will be assessed. Any other admission information will also be taken. If your husband or another support person will participate in the birth, he or she will be asked to change into hospital attire prior to delivery.
