The Infectious Diseases Department of Greenwich Hospital is composed of two distinct specialty areas:

• Infection Control and Prevention Program
  
• Infectious Diseases Antibiotic Program (IDAP)
  
• Infectious Disease Consultants

Location
The Infectious Diseases Department is located in the Helmsley Building on the First Floor in Suite 1-108.

Hours of Operation
The hours of operation vary depending upon the specialty area. The IDAP requires an appointment and a physician's referral.

Greenwich Hospital's Infectious Diseases Department is carefully monitoring the current H1N1 outbreaks. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and have concerns or questions, please call the hospital hotline at (203) 863-4455 or call your primary care physician.

2009 Seasonal Flu Vaccination
Contact your primary care physician to schedule a seasonal flu vaccination. Please be aware that many physician offices and clinics are still waiting for shipments of the vaccine. Refer to your local town health department for further information about the distribution plan of vaccines for the general public.
