Greenwich Hospital Emergency Department
Hours & Location
The Greenwich Hospital Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and never refuses care to any patient.
The Emergency Entrance is located on the south end of the new Greenwich Hospital building (5 Perryridge Road). Look for the red "Emergency" signs. Parking is available near the entrance. View hospital floor plan.
GEMS and 911
Greenwich Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) is a separate organization that works closely with our Emergency Center. It is part of the Town of Greenwich "911" emergency response system. You should call "911" if you require immediate medical assistance. GEMS paramedics in the field are in direct communication with the Greenwich Hospital emergency physician so that care begins at the scene. Together, we are committed to providing the best medical care available.
