The licensed electronic resources made available by the Greenwich Hospital Library are for the personal, clinical, research, scholarly, or instructional activities of current Greenwich Hospital faculty, staff, students, and other authorized users. Copyright Law (including the protections of "fair use") and contractual license agreements govern the access, use, and reproduction of these resources. Permitted actions generally include: downloading, temporarily storing, or printing discrete reasonable portions of the materials. Prohibited actions generally include: sharing of passwords of authorized access codes, systematic downloading of significant portions of the materials, posting copyrighted materials on a publicly accessible website, or commercial exploitation of the licensed information.

CINAHL with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive source of full text for nursing & allied health journals, providing full text for nearly 600 journals indexed inCINAHL. This authoritative file contains full text for many of the most used journals in the CINAHL index - with no embargo. Full-text coverage dates back to 1981.

Health Business Fulltext Elite
Health Business Fulltext Elite database provides full text from 490 journals. Health Business Elite provides comprehensive journal content detailing all aspects of health care administration and other non-clinical aspects of health care institution management. Click here for a complete title list.

A web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases and other various sources. An integrated database which includes drug information, 31 nursing reference books, 8,500 patient education monographs and 24 full-text nursing journals.

Nursing Skills
A comprehensive online skills and procedures reference system, which includes over 530 interactive skills from texts, such as Perry & Potter Clinical Nursing Skills & Techniques, Proehl Emergency Nursing Procedures, AACN Procedure Manual for Critical Care, etc.

OVID Databases (Medline, Nursing, PsychINFO, Cochrane, full-text books & journals, etc.)
A variety of medical, nursing, evidence based, and allied health care databases covering the national and international literature on all aspects of health care and medical research. Databases include access to full-text books and journals. A user name and password are required.

UpToDate Online
An aggregate database specifically designed to answer the clinical questions that arise in daily practice and to do so quickly and easily so that it can be used right at the point of care.

PubMed
The database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles dating back to the 1950s.

Electronic Books
A collection of full-text online medical and nursing textbooks.

Electronic Journals
Full-text access to the Library's journal collection.

Micromedex
The MICROMEDEX® Healthcare Series of databases is primarily a drug information system and is considered one of the most authoritative resources available. It includes: Full-text databases on chemical, pharmaceutical, and related biological substances used in clinical patient care; Teratogenicity, toxicology, alternative medicine, and pharmaceutical information; Drug reviews, guidelines, clinical reviews, and information from package inserts and drug texts. Micromedex is available through the Greenwich Hospital intranet only.
