Benefit Events

With tremendous support from the community, Greenwich Hospital sponsors a number of benefit events and lectures each year. These activities raise community awareness and funds for critical medical, prevention and educational services.

Under the Stars

Sponsored by Families for Greenwich Hospital, “Under the Stars” is an annual summertime fundraiser offering guests a festive evening of dining, dancing and auctions. Proceeds from this event benefit Pediatric Services and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Greenwich Hospital.

The scenic Long Island Sound provides the perfect backdrop for hundreds of Connecticut and New York residents at Riverside Yacht Club. Mini Nunna and Lauren O’Malley of Greenwich, along with Jessica Reardon of Norwalk, are the co-chairs of the event, which honors Patricia Beirne, RN, MSN.

You can help our youngest patients and the excellent clinicians who treat them. Please consider being one of our patrons, purchasing a ticket for the event or a gift from the NICU and Pediatric Departments' Wish List. Our Wish Lists are available all year 'round, with new items added close to our event. Helpful donations are appreciated anytime!

As the facts indicate, this is a unique event with press reaching a wide audience for the benefit of Greenwich Hospital's tiniest patients. We offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities. Many businesses and individuals also contribute to our silent and live auctions. If you wish to make a tax-deductible gift of goods or services for our auction, please fill out this form. 

This year, Jeffrey Shaw, portrait photographer, is thrilled to lend his support and talents to Under the Stars 2013 by offering a 1-2 hour portrait session plus an 8x10” print to the first 30 families who sign up to buy a half page or full page tribute ad for The Magazine for Greenwich Hospital. Great Chefs 2013
March 1, 2013



The hottest culinary happening of 2013 was a great success! Thanks to all who contributed and participated. 

This year, the culinary extravaganza honored chef Angelo Vivolo, owner of Vivolo Restaurant, Bar Vetro, Cucina Vivolo and Bruschetteria in New York City and featured pastry chef Lisa Maronian, owner of Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes in Greenwich. Our co-chairs this year were Carolyn Crabtree and Shelly Tretter Lynch.

Great Chefs comes again in 2014, but you can purchase a gift from the Community Health Wish List anytime. These much-needed items would greatly help our Community Health Programs.




The Gala for Greenwich Hospital
October 20, 2012




As the hospital’s premier fund raising event, the annual Gala for Greenwich Hospital draws more than 500 guests to support vital services at the hospital. Proceeds from the 2012 Gala benefited the Emergency Department at Greenwich Hospital.

Greenwich residents Aundrea Amine and Giovanna Miller chaired this year's spectacular event. The Mitchell family received the President's Award for their years of support to Greenwich Hospital.
