Chemistry - The level of important minerals and
electrolytes in your blood as well
as kidney function.
Coagulation Profile - Whether or not blood is likely to
clot sufficiently.
Urinalysis or UA - Presence of urinary tract infection
and kidney structure and function.
Chest X-ray - Anatomy of heart, lungs and other
thoracic structures.
Electrocardiogram or EKG - Electrical activity of the heart.
Liver enzymes - Liver abnormalities.
Thyroid function - Activity level of the thyroid.
Stress Test / Echocardiogram - Assess heart function.
Angiogram - Anatomy of blood vessels.
e.g., coronary angiogram - blood vessels of the heart.
Cat Scan or CT scan- High resolution x-rays.
MRI - Like a CT scan but without radiation.
Pulmonary function test - Lung function.
