Frank A. Corvino

Under Corvino’s leadership, Greenwich Hospital has become a premier healthcare facility with a national reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction and safety. Prior to joining Greenwich Hospital in 1988, Corvino was an executive vice president at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y. He received his undergraduate degree in pharmacy at Fordham University and completed his graduate training at St. John’s University. He serves on the boards of the Connecticut Hospital Association, Greenwich Emergency Medical Services and the Norwalk Community College Foundation. Corvino has received numerous awards, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the Malcolm T. MacEachern CEO Award, and has been honored by the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation and many other organizations. |

Quinton J. Friesen
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Vice President, Yale New Haven Health System
Friesen has been instrumental in guiding Greenwich Hospital’s operational improvements in a highly competitive environment. He held previous posts at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., and Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minn. A graduate of Tabor College, Friesen earned a master’s of hospital administration at the University of Minnesota. He is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and active in many community service endeavors. |

Christine Beechner, RN
Vice President, Patient and Guest Relations
Beechner is responsible for Greenwich Hospital’s service excellence and patient satisfaction initiatives and is a frequent national speaker on these topics. A registered nurse with more than 30 years of healthcare experience, Beechner has served as president of the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification, and been active on on many other local, state and national nursing specialty committees. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College. |

Susan Brown, RN, MSN
Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services
Brown is responsible for nursing excellence and superior clinical outcomes in the Patient Care Services Dept. Her nursing career began at University Hospitals of Cleveland followed by positions in Florida and New York. She first came to Greenwich Hospital as nurse manager in obstetrics and pediatrics and later became director of women’s and infants’ health at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport before returning to Greenwich in a similar capacity. She has a nursing degree from Adelphi University and a master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University. |

Stephen Carbery
Vice President, Yale New Haven Health System, Facilities, Design, Construction & Real Estate
Carbery is responsible for the safe and efficient planning, design and construction of all Yale New Haven Health System facilities, including Greenwich Hospital. He is also responsible for the acquisition and management of all system-wide real estate holdings. He is certified as a healthcare facilities manager and is a certified healthcare contractor of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers. Carbery previously served as the hospital’s executive project director and director of facilities management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the State University of New York – Maritime College and a master’s in business administration from the University of New Haven. |

Eugene Colucci

Vice President, Yale New Haven Health System
Colucci has been Greenwich Hospital’s CFO for more than 20 years. He previously served as chief financial officer and controller of Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, N.Y. A certified public accountant, he is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Colucci has a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University and a masters of business administration from St. John’s University in New York. |

Brian J. Doran, MD
Senior Vice President, Medical Services
Dr. Doran is the administration’s liaison with the medical staff. Before assuming his current post, he was medical director of Greenwich Hospital’s emergency department. A graduate of Chicago Medical School, he completed his residency in emergency medicine at Yale New Haven Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Doran holds a master’s degree in health care management from Harvard University’s School of Public Health. |

Deborah Hodys

Deputy General Counsel, Yale New Haven Health System
Hodys provides legal counsel to Greenwich Hospital and the Yale New Haven Health System. Before coming to Greenwich Hospital in 2007, Hodys previously held positions at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System; Park Avenue Health Care Management; Garfunkel, Wild & Travis; and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. She is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from New York University.

Marc Kosak

Kosak provides leadership to a variety of clinical operations in the hospital. He has held a number of posts at Greenwich Hospital, most recently as vice president, the Institute for Healthy Living. Kosak’s career includes positions at Burke Rehabilitation, Wartburg Adult Care Community, and Terence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare. A fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives, Kosak is a graduate of Daemen College and holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix. |

Nancy Levitt-Rosenthal

Levitt-Rosenthal facilitates the future direction of the hospital through strategic planning and business development. Before joining Greenwich Hospital, she held posts at Iowa Health Systems and Market Opinion Research in Detroit. Levitt-Rosenthal is the Connecticut chapter president of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous community and professionals boards. She has a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan. |

Dr. Lipschutz provides leadership in areas of clinical quality, performance improvement and patient safety. Before coming to Greenwich Hospital, he was senior vice president of medical affairs at South Shore Hospital in Massachusetts. Dr. Lipschutz practiced internal medicine for 25 years at Good Samaritan Medical Center & Brockton Hospital and held posts at Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. |

Pawlush is Greenwich Hospital’s chief spokesperson. His public relations career has included posts at Danbury Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. He is a trustee at both Wilkes University and The Osborn in Rye, N.Y., and serves on the boards of the Port Chester/Rye Brook Chamber of Commerce and the Port Chester/Rye Brook Rotary Club. Pawlush has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in education from Wilkes University. |
