Wednesday, February 26, 2014 - Drug deaths hit 10-year high

Over the last several years, more people have died from drug overdoses than in motor vehicle accidents. Only 3% of people with substance use disorders (SUDs) successfully recover without the assistance of formal treatment.

Greenwich Hospital’s Addiction Recovery Center offers inpatient and outpatient services for SUDs, including opiate addiction to prescription pain medication or heroin. This program combines medication management using buprenorphine-naloxone (aka Suboxone) with comprehensive skill-based, supportive, education and family groups.
