Eugene Colucci named 2013 CFO of the Year
Greenwich Hospital CFO takes honor in Large Business category

October 3, 2013 (Greenwich, CT) – Eugene Colucci, senior vice president/chief financial officer for Greenwich Hospital and vice president, Yale New Haven Health System, has been named 2013 CFO of the Year (large business category) by the Fairfield County Business Journal. Awards were determined by a distinguished panel of business leaders, including Peter M. Gioia, vice president and economist, Connecticut Business and Industry Assn. (CBIA), who presented the award to Colucci.

Colucci, an Eastchester resident, joined Greenwich Hospital in 1989, leading the effort to stop the hospital’s operating losses. Under his fiscal leadership, the hospital has operated at a profit every year since and net revenue has increased more than 400 percent. As CFO, Colucci currently controls a $326 million annual operating budget. Prior to joining Greenwich Hospital, Colucci served as CFO and controller of Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, NY. A certified public accountant, he is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs. Colucci holds a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University and an MBA from St. John’s University in New York.
